We invite you to participate as an exhibitor during the 2017 California Council for the Social Studies annual conference. The CCSS conference is your opportunity to meet face-to-face with teachers and decision makers who influence the purchase of textbooks for grades K-12, children’s trade books, curriculum programs, computer software and videos, art and craft materials, travel and study programs, and special services.
The California Council for the Social Studies is the largest state professional social studies education organization for teachers, administrators, and curriculum specialists in California. With a membership of over 600, CCSS includes professionals at elementary, middle, high, college and university levels spanning the disciplines of history, geography, political science, economics, sociology, anthropology, psychology, as well as the humanities and visual and performing arts. Annual conferences generally attract between 800 to 1000 attendees.
The 2017 conference, Gateway to Social Studies, will take place March 3-5 2017 at the DoubleTree Hilton, 2001 Point West Way, Sacramento, CA 95815. CCSS is committed to quality social studies education for all educators and students across all grade levels. Sessions and workshops will reflect the entire spectrum of social studies education designed to assist teachers in the elementary, middle, high school classrooms, as well as college, university, and teacher education programs.
