The California Council for the Social Studies is proud to partner with CUE as an educational partner at its 57TH Annual Conference. CUE inspires innovative learners by fostering community, personalizing learning, infusing technology, developing leadership, and advocating educational opportunities for all.
CUE (Computer Using Educators) will kick off the CCSS conference on Thursday, March 22, with a full-day "History Teacher Edition" of its popular ROCKSTAR teacher professional development program. Appropriate for 6 – 12th grade teachers, CUE ROCKSTAR History Teacher Edition consists of three 90-minute "Jam Sessions" -- focused, small group workshops using hands-on learning --allowing attendees to "dive deep" by mixing pedagogy and technology to build digital resources that can be used immediately in the classroom. There will be one CUE ROCKSTAR faculty member for every 25 attendees (or fewer) to allow participants to get focused support and learn directly from knowledgeable educators.
Registration for CUE Rockstar History Teacher Edition is just $79!! In order to register, you must also register for the full CCSS conference. Additional CUE sessions and "pop-ups" will be held throughout the conference weekend. You'll find the CUE Rockstar event as an "add-on" as you go through the conference registration process. (If you've already registered for the conference, you can add on the CUE event by clicking here.) Discounted conference rates are available for CCSS members, for a total cost less than that for non-members, so join today!
