October is LGBTQ History Month, an opportunity to celebrate and study the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people and events in history. This issue invites educators to explore resources to build content knowledge and understanding of varied perspectives from the past, and from those of today. Through education, students become informed and develop empathy for others, shaping their own perspectives that have impact for real world change.
