It is with sad hearts that we share the news of the passing of Dr. Ruben Zepeda this past weekend, a past president of CCSS and long time friend of our social studies community. His wife, Sarah Zepeda, served as our Executive Secretary for many years. Many of us involved in CCSS loved and respected Ruben tremendously. It is a terrible loss and our thoughts are with the Zepeda family.
